JOB DESCRIPTION :
Job Summary:
Position
is responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the Security
operations in the front and back of the house. Develops and recommends the budget plans
and objectives and manages within those approved plans. The major areas of
responsibility/management include: Banquet(s), Lawn(s), Entry and Exit, total
area of property, while coordinating the operations of the banquets and vendor
to supervise and control. Participate
in total hotel management as a member of the Hotel Senior Management team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To achieve brand quality service standards

To attend and resolve customer
complaints.
· To prepare and submit on the
required format all information necessary for event purposes, timely and
accurately.
· To ensure that reports and
administration requirements are timely submitted.
· To
ensure that the Back of the House Department operates effectively and
efficiently.
· To
take the necessary steps in the event of theft, burglary or fire.
· To
ensure that fire and evacuation drills are held regularly.
· To
ensure that bands and musicians are available when required.
· To
ensure that regular stock takes are conducted.
· To
attend meetings as required
·
To ensure that the most suitably
qualified person is appointed in the event of a vacancy — wherever possible
this should be an internal promotion
· To
ensure that the causes of staff grievances are investigated and the appropriate
action taken.
·
To ensure that fair discipline
is affected.
To
hold regular staff briefing.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Requires advanced
knowledge of the principles and practices within the Security profession. This includes the knowledge required for
management of people.
Must possess highly developed communication skills to negotiate,
convince, sell and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guest(s). External/Internal
Liaison focus, exposure to co-ordination.
